Center of Excellence Open

Our “New Center of Excellence” with our state of the art Research and Development center, show-casing new laboratories, Ballistic Testing Range and our Biomass Energy System was officially opened on Monday December 12th 2011 at our North Monmouth, Maine Location.
While showing our wonderful facility and capabilities we recognized Officer Malin Reynolds who is our first official Ballistic save. Officer Reynolds was shot while wearing a Ballistic vest with material engineered and produced in our North Monmouth location, later that same night he went home to his family.

Tex Tech was recently awarded a significant Department of Defense grant to develop the next generation of Core Matrix Technology TM for IOTV military applications.
Biomass Energy Reduces Oil Consumption

Tex Tech has converted to a Biomass Energy System using wood chips to replace 80% of the heating oil previously consumed. The project will significantly reduce the company’s carbon footprint. The wood chips will be purchased from sustainable forest operations within a 100 mile radius.
